Seatrans Ship Management, the Norwegian company, has signed up 13 chemical tankers and 7 dry-cargo vessels (20 in total) to the DNV GL fleet performance management solution ECO Insight.
“We need to have full insight into the performance of our fleet and use this to continually improve our operations. ECO Insight will help us to achieve this,” says Gisle Rong, Managing Director Seatrans Ship Management.
ECO Insight is said to enrich customers’ own fleet reports with industry data, such as Automatic Identification System (AIS), weather, or fuel, and provide unique benchmarking capabilities..
