A pilot project to examine the value of blockchain technology has been launched by the Danish Maritime Authority.
- Pilot project will look at the possibilities of turning ship registration digital.
- Full digitalisation using blockchain technology will aim to make registration more open, secure and efficient according to the Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs Brian Mikkelsen.
- Project will assess whether blockchain can support the DMA’s efforts in making use of digital technology in Blue Denmark.
