BMT SMART, a subsidiary of BMT Group, has announced the launch of SMARTMOBILE, a webpage that optimises the view of key vessel performance data through smart phones and smaller tablets.
- Shipowners can access their vessel’s performance data using a smart phone.
- It shows where vessels are, which vessels are under performing and data related to speed, fuel consumption and the current weather conditions the ship is operating in.
- A red, amber and green colour key is used to show changes in performance relating to speed & consumption, hull & propeller fouling, and trim.
