ClassNK Consulting Service has launched a support service for setting up an EU MRV (Monitoring, Reporting and Verification) Monitoring Plan (MP) to help shipowners and operators comply with the EU MRV regulation on CO2 emissions.
- A MP is required to show how the shipowner/operator will plan their data collection method and management in line with the regulation.
- The MP must be submitted to a Verifier by August 31 2017.
- ClassNK service will support owners and operators in providing a form, guidance and advice to set up a MP.
