ClassNK’s e-certificate has extended its availability to three further flag states from September 15, 2017.
- e-certificate enables secure transmission of certificates from ship-to-shore and vice versa to reduce workload and human error.
- Liberian Registry confirmed that the e-certificate met the requirements of the IMO Guidelines and granted ClassNK authorisation as the first recognised organisation to issue electronic certificates to Liberian-flagged vessels.
- Now the e-certificate has been approved by the flag states of Panama, Singapore, and the Marshall Islands.
