ClassNK’s electronic certification service is to begin operation from June 15, 2017.
- ClassNK e-Certificate will be made exclusively available to Liberian-flagged vessels on the ClassNK register.
- Electronic certification aims to minimise errors and reduce workload by transmitting certificates from ship to shore and vice versa.
- System also includes an online function to establish whether certificates are valid and to check if they have been tampered with.
