Connectivity as a Service offering launched

KVH Industries has made available its AgilePlans Connectivity as a Service (Caas) offering for the maritime industry.

• AgilePlans provides a range of services, including global broadband, crew welfare and training content, technical support and an IP-MobileCast for US $499 per month.
• According to KVH, AgilePlans enhances at sea communications to improve operational efficiency, delivering crew content and eLearning.
• Agileplans can be adjusted quickly and easily to customers’ needs or market conditions, including an expanding fleet or contraction. Subscriebrs can also end the programme at any time with no fee.
