Global Navigation Solutions is giving its support to seafarers ahead of the next Port State Control Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) on navigation safety.
- The comprehensive CIC will have inspectors from the Paris MoU, Tokyo MoU, Black Sea MoU, Indian Ocean MoU and Vina del Mar commencing the programme of additional checks from 1 September 2017 and running for three months.
- GNS will help shipping companies meet the enhanced inspections by sharing information, advice and checklists which can be used for preparation.
- It will provide free workshops and has already helped shipowners and operators with digital navigation and the changing regulation.
