Canadian maritime software company, Helm Operations, has received Type Approval from ClassNK for its planned maintenance software, Helm CONNECT.
- Helm founder and CEO Ron deBruyne says that this approval makes it possible to expand into a larger blue water shipping industry.
- Helm CONNECT provides information on manabging safety, planned maintenance, billing, jobs, and more.
- To date it has been applied to more than 1,700 vessels.
