Mumbai, India played host to the IMO’s train-the-trainer workshop on energy efficient shipping last week.
- Workshop was run under the GloMEEP project, which support uptake and implementation of energy efficiency measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Train-the-trainer program help educate maritime educators and officials to pass on experience related to technical and regulatory aspects of greener shipping.
- Thirty participants took part in group exercises and gave presentations on barriers to ship energy efficiency.
