Ship manager Fleet Management Limited has selected Inmarsat’s Fleet Xpress solution to increase connectivity across the fleet of vessels it manages.
- Fleet Xpress delivers global high speed connectivity to enhance vessel efficiency, crew welfare and safety.
- FML will install Fleet Xpress to the majority of the 400 vessels it manages by 2018, using a Cobham 1m GX antenna for Ka-band connectivity and FleetBroadband terminal for L-Band back-up.
- FML says Inmarsat was chosen due to previous experience showing reliability for satellite communications.
