MOL’s newbuild LNG carrier named Energy Liberty

A newbuilding carrier jointly owned by MOL and Tokyo LNG Tanker has had its naming ceremony at the Tsu Shipyard of Japan Marine United Corporation.

  • Vessel was named the Energy Liberty.
  • It is the eighth liquefied natural gas carrier owned and managed by Tokyo LNG Tanker.
  • Energy Liberty, which will transport LNG from Cove Point project in the US to Tokyo Gas, will be managed by MOL.
