Norwegian Cruise Line has signed a deal with Fincantieri to construct four new ships with the option for an additional two.
- According to NCL, energy efficiency to reduce environmental impact and optimise fuel consumption will be prioritised during the design phase.
- Contract is worth €800 million per ship, with 80% of this funded through export credit financing.
- Ships will be delivered 2022-2025 and up to 2027 for the additional two.
