Verifavia Shiping has been selected by Oldendorff Carriers to verify the carbon emissions from its fleet of vessels in line with the EU’s Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) regulation.
- Verifavia will help Oldendorff with monitoring plans and verification of carbon emissions reports.
- EU MRV regulation was implemented in July 2015 but will enter into force on 31st August 2017.
- Oldendorff reports positive previous experiences with Verifavia and believes its experience in aviation will provide beneficial for the maritime regulation.
