Optimarin has received orders from two companies to retrofit its ballast water treatment system.
- Optimarin Ballast System (OBS) has US Coast Guard type approval.
- Three OBS’s will be fitted to Wisby’s bitumen tankers and two to Hoëgh’s RoRo vessels.
- OBS is modular, which makes it easier to retrofit to existing ships according to CEO of Optimarin, Tore Andersen.
