Poland hosts new seafarer assessment centre

Maritime e-learning company, Seagull Maritime, and Gdynia Maritime School have joined up to create a new assessment centre in Gdynia, Poland, allowing seafarers to complete distance courses on-site.

  • Seagull Maritime reports that the assessment centre will help strengthen its position as a maritime training centre.
  • Gdynia is reportedly home to one of the largest pools of seafarers in the world. The centre will make it easier for crew members to train and gain certification while reducing travelling.
