Shell to supply LNG to Siem Car Carriers

Shell NA LNG and Shell Western LNG have signed a long-term agreement with Siem Car Carriers.

Car carriers will use liquefied natural gas supplied by Shell to power two new car carriers.
Newbuilds will transport Volkswagen vehicles from Europe to North America from 2019.
Ships will be the first LNG-powered car carriers and will refuel vessel in Northwest Europe using its LNG bunker ship Cardissa.
