Stena Line to enhance engine maintenance with PrimeServ online service

MAN Diesel & Turbo will provide its online service to two Stena Line vessels.

  • PrimServ Online service monitors engines and turbochargers, giving immediate feedback on any inefficiencies, which can then be modified accordingly.
  • Engine data is transmitted from any worldwide location using secure data collections. PrimeServ experts then anayse the data and provide recommendations for the maintenance or repair of the engine or turbocharger.
  • Conventional passenger-and-vehicle superferries Stena Hollandica and Stena Britannica will use the service on their routes between the Hook of Holland and Harwich.
