StormGeo’s shipping division formerly AWT, has been verified by Verifavia Shipping as an EU Monitoring, Reporting and Verification supplier.
- StormGeo’s Fleet Performance Solution, FleetDSS MRV, measures ships’ CO2 emissions and provides a tool to help shipowners and operators create monitoring plans, view leg-by-leg voyage reports and annual emissions reports. Reports are sent directly to a verification entity.
- FleetDSS Analytics analyses vessel performance, such as fuel consumption and speed, and compares it to benchmarks and other vessels.
- EU MRV regulation requires all ships over 5,000 GT to monitor, report and verify their CO2 emissions. Ship-specific monitoring plans must be in place by August 31, 2017.
