Teekay Corporation has released a video showing the makeover of a liquefied natural gas carrier during dry-dock.
- LNG carrier, Tangguh Hiri, undergoes maintenance work including cleaning, brushing, blasting, painting, anchor replacement, propeller cleaning and testing, pump overhauls, bridge upgrades and more.
- It also shows inspections and testing of the shaft, lifeboats, cargo tank, main engine, and sea chest.
- According to Teekay, this kind of maintenance work takes place every 5 years.
