Thordon shaft seals applied to Canadian research vessel

Thordon Bearings and the Government of Canada have signed a procurement agreement to supply, install and commission two SeaThigor shaft seals for the Canadian Coast Guard vessel CCGS Hudson.

  • Agreement is part of the Administration’s Build in Canada Innovation Program that supports and invests in home-grown innovations to drive sustainable economic growth across the country.
  • Program helps Canadian innvators, such as Thordon Bearings, get their innovations tested by the Government of Canada.
  • Maintenance free seal, SeaTigor, will be tested by Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard and fitted to CCGS Hudson later this month.
