Transas has signed a partnership agreement with global satellite services provider Satcom Global to integrate connectivity to THESIS, its platform for digital operations.
- Agreement will allow vessels using Transas’ navigation and optimisation solutions to connect with shore based fleet operations centres, using Satcom Global’s secure connectivity.
- Transas will be able to extend benefits of THESIS by allowing ship owners to connect easier with fleet operations centres.
- Satcom global’s bandwidth will facilitate data exchange, including ECDIS updates and increase crew welfare by providing better access to internet.
