Wärtsilä and ABB have signed a 6-year service agreement to expand their cooperation in lifecycle service offerings of turbochargers with Wärtsilä 4-stroke engines.
- Wärtsilä has gained Authorized Service Provider status for standard maintenance of ABB turbochargers, which covers disassembly, exchange of parts, balancing and reassembly of the turbochargers installed with Wärtsilä 4-stroke engines.
- Customers will benefit from further options for servicing their turbochargers with a wider portfolio to enhance product performance and get continuous upgrade packages as part of turbocharger development.
- Wärtsilä and ABB will share specific service data and maintenance documents.
