Wärtsilä has signed a maintenance agreement with Monaco-based GasLog LNG Services, which covers eight liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers operating on Wärtsilä dual-fuel engines.
- Wärtsilä will analyse the operating conditions of the ships’ engines and assist with streamlining maintenance to improve operational efficiency of the GasLog vessels.
- Real-time installation data, Dynamic Maintenance Planning, technical support, secured availability of spare parts, specialised technical personnel around the clock and constant performance monitoring will be used to optimise vessels’ lifecycles.
- Agreement is effective from October 1, 2017 and covers four new LNG carriers and a renewal service for an additional four LNG carriers.
