Wärtsilä has signed an agreement with Finnish Seabin Project to help address the challenges of global ocean littering.
- Seabin is a floating bin that collects rubbish at marinas, docks, yacht clubs and commercial ports.
- Pilot programme launches April 2017 to monitor user experience and data of Seabin from the pilot partners before commercial sales commence.
- Wärtsilä is sponsoring the city and port of Helsinki’s involvement with the programme.
