Wastewater treatment systems delivered to tugs

A series of high specification tugs are to be fitted with ACO Marine’s wastewater treatment units.

• Each tug will feature a Clarimar MF-0.5 wastewater management system with a footprint of 1.63m² and will meet the IMO’s wastewater discharge requirements in MEPC 227 (64).
• The small space on tugs for machinery means the chosen wastewater treatment systems were required to meet such specifications.
• 2m³ per day capacity systems were delivered to Nibulon Shipbuilding and Repair Yard, Ukraine.
