Norwegian company, VesselMan, is to integrate its applications for dry-docking and repair management into Kongsberg’s Kognifai digital platform.
- Integrating VesselMan’s cloud-based management system into Kognifai will allow customers to enhance their defined planning process and increase remote process monitoring and online information sharing.
- VesselMan will concentrate on its core business while Kongsberg will handle scalability, security and other issues related to global cloud-based solutions.
- By using a tool such a Kognifai with dry-docking and retrofitting, shipowners and shipyards should be able to reduce costs, says Kongsberg.
