DNV GL, GTT, Hyundai Heavy Industries and GasLog have won the CWC Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Technological Innovation Award 2015 for the LNGreen joint industry project.
The LNGreen collaborative project developed a next-generation LNG carrier that uses latest methods to achieve an eight percent increase in efficiency and a five percent increase in cargo carrying capacity. Furthermore, the design facilitates a lower environmental footprint and improves boil off rate.
The award was presented at the CWC Sixteenth World LNG Summit & Awards Gala Dinner in Rome on Friday 4th December.
