Shipbuilding company Sener is working with a virtual prototyping and testing software developer to integrate the IC.IDO virtual reality system into their FORAN application.
SENER and the ESI Group will drive the development of IC.IDO in the naval market worldwide, and efforts have already been initiated to integrate the leading product FORAN Virtual Reality IC.IDO, allowing physical simulation in real time, ensuring realistic and immersive user interface behaviour.
FORAN is an advanced shipbuilding system. Sener say that and its integration with the IC.IDO virtual reality system will create unique opportunities for collaboration and process integration in an immersive 3D environment that will further assist the decision-making processes of the different teams in the shipyard, or decision making between teams and the different design offices.
