Two 40,000 DWT eco-tankers have been delivered to Indonesia’s PT Pertamina to complete a three-ship series. The MT Sanana and MY Serui were built by New Times Shipbuilding in China to Bureau Veritas class.
The eco-tankers are equipped with ballast water treatment systems and comply with the requirement of IMO NOx Tier II standards.
Bureau Veritas has also granted the ships with the CLEANSHIP, GREENPASSPORT, BWT, ERS-S and VCS-TRANSFER class notations.
