Torvald Klaveness is to install ABB’s digital marine software on three of its newbuild vessels.
- OCTOPUS is a marine software system that collects data from on-board sensors, giving insight into fuel efficiency, emissions and safety.
- Torvald Klaveness will use the software to monitor ship performance and create benchmarks for future performance.
- Ships will also receive ABB’s Torductor Marine to optimise engine and fuel efficiency.
