Ulstein Verft and Color Line have signed a contract to construct the world’s largest plug-in hybrid vessel following the Letter of Intent that was signed in late January.
- Plug-in ship will use batteries that can be recharged via shore power or the ship’s generators.
- All Norwegian ports on Color Line’s network will have shore power facilities to enable recharging.
- Ship will service Sandefjord – Strömstad from summer 2019.
