Gibraltar-based shipyard, Gibdock, has upgraded its operating processes and transitioned its ISO quality management and environmental standard.
- Yard has moved from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard. This has more focus on corporate responsibility in internal processes.
- It has also transitioned from ISO 14001:2008 to the ISO 14001:2015 environmental standard. This has a greater focus on ensuring that procedures and documentation span product lifecycle, ensuring traceability from the product source to disposal.
- Gibdock underwent a 10 month review and upgrade. Lloyd’s Register assessment team carried out an external audit in April and verified compliance.
