Ballast water treatment system supplier, De Nora, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sembcorp Marine to supply and install its BALPURE BWTS at Sembcorp yards.
- Sembcorp will supply the De Nora BWTS through a turnkey offering from the yard, including project management, vessel survey, design engineering, equipment selection and retrofit.
- De Nora will support training on the installation and operation of the IMO type approved BWTS to Sembcorp.
- Agreement means that Sembcorp will now offer UV and electrochlorination BWTS.
