Manufacturer of ballast water treatment systems, Optimarin, has signed an agreement with Goltens Green Technologies to improve its access to a network of spare parts warehousing and service engineers.
- Optimarin to gain access to facilities in Asia, North America and the Middle East to provide its customers with local parts, engineers and lead times for the commissioning and maintenance of its Optimarin Ballast System (OBS).
- Optimarin has worked with Goltens for six years, installing OBS on more the 100 vessels, but never had a formal agreement.
- OBS has achieved United States Coast Guard type approval and has more than 300 installations worldwide, according to the company.
