Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) has selected ClassNK Consulting Service’s next-generation diagnostic monitoring system for installation on two or more of its operated ships.
- ClassNK CMAXS e-GICSX monitors electrically controlled main engines supplied by Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding, while ClassNK CMAX LC-A monitors auxiliary engines supplied by DAIHATSU DIESEL MFG.
- Both CMAXS systems operate simultaneously, gathering information from VDR, data loggers and main engines, and consolidates the data on a common platform for analysis.
- CMAXS uses sensor data to diagnose onboard machinery and equipment and enable condition monitoring maintenance. CMAXS Web Service shares the data onboard and on shore.
