ABB has acquired UK product and software solutions company for machine and factory automation, B&R.
- Acquisition will pair B&R’s software and solutions with ABB’s robotics, process automation, digitalisation and electrification.
- ABB will integrate B&R’s products in PLC, Industrial PCs and servo motion as well as its software and solution suite.
- ABB says the partnership will enable its digital platform, ABB Ability to make use of B&R’s simulation software, expertise and engineering tools.
