Active Shipping is to install Marlink’s Sealink Global VSAT service to increase bandwidth on its tanker and bulker fleet of vessels.
- Sealink VSAT Data Allowance service will also allow Active Shipping to control and monitor data transfer between ship and shore and top up with more data if needed.
- It will also team up with Marlink’s regional partner, Ozsay Satellite Communications, to boost connectivity further.
- Xchange Bring Your Own Device solution will also be used onboard its vessels to allow crew access to the internet to boost morale.
