The range of the PureBallast 3 Compact ballast water treatment system (BWTS) will be extended to include flow designations of 300 m3/h.
This means that this BWTS will have the smallest footprint on the market for its capacity.
Currently the PureBallast 3 Compact range is available for flow designations of 32 – 170m3/h.
An Alfa Laval representative stated at UK Chamber of Shipping ballast water forum that the product will be formally released at SMM Hamburg in September.
