Alfa Laval’s latest BWTS provides lowest footprint yet

Alfa Laval has made available its PureBallast 3.1 Compact Flex ballast water treatment system, with a smaller footprint and lower installation cost than previous versions.

• PureBallast 3.1 Compact Flex is 20% smaller and 10% less expensive to install than Alfa Laval’s PureBallast 3.1 version.
• BWTS allows flows of 32-1000m³/h and offers a skid-mounted option to reduce footprint and make installation quick and cost-efficient.
• The system can operate in fresh, brackish and marine water with UV transmittance as low as 42%. USCG type approval is pending.
