Andreas Chrysostomou has joined the Cruise Lines International Association.
He has taken the role of Vice President European Government and Public Affairs At CLIA Europe. Chrysostomou was well known for his tenure at the Cyprus Department of Merchant Shipping and at the International Maritime Organization where he was chair of the marine environment protection committee for a decade as well as being involved in Cyprus’ efforts in European maritime affairs.
He had a short tenure as general manager of Greek shipowner and manager Transmed between leaving the Department of Merchant Shipping and assuming this new role at CLIA Europe.
Back in the world of diplomatic lobbying he will be leading CLIA Europe’s strategic advocacy vision and managing regulatory matters, legislative affairs, lobbying and public affairs.
