Evoqua Water Technologies has been selected by BAE Systems Australia Ltd. to design and deliver technology that prevents marine growth in seawater cooling systems for installation onto the Royal Australian Navy ANZAC Class frigates.
Evoqua will deliver Chloropac systems for installation onto eight ANZAC Class frigates over the next six years.
The Chloropac seawater electrochlorination systems prevent marine and biological fouling by generating a dilute, safe solution of sodium hypochlorite from natural seawater for direct injection into the sea water cooling circuits and sea chests.
