Carnival Horizon has been launched, equipped with modern safety systems and emissions reducing technologies.
- Ship has been built to include the Safe Return to Port requirement, which requires larger ships to take further responsibility in emergencies and an understanding of how long the ship remains safe for evacuation.
- Carnival Horizon will also feature energy-saving technologies as well as SOx scrubbers.
- Vessel was launched at Fincantieri’s shipyard, Marghera, and is expected to enter delivery in spring 2018.
