Shipping company CMA CGM has launched the Morocco Express 1/2/3, a RoRo service to connect Morocco with Europe via Spain.
- The service consists of three different service loops with different time tables.
- Service allows loading of goods transported in trailers or containers on specific RoRo ships between Morocco and Southern Europe.
- According to CMA CGM, the Morocco Express service reduces CO2 emissions by 43% compared to road transport transiting through Spain. This will save an estimated 64 000 tons of CO2 each year.
