CMA CGM opts for Wärtsilä ballast system

CMA CGM has chosen Wärtsilä’s ballast water management system solution for installation to four of its new container vessels.

• Wärtsilä Aquarius UV system features a two-stage process that uses filtration and UV irradiation to process 500m³ per hour of water.
• Vessels under constructionat the Cosco Zhoushan shipyard in China.
• Order marks the 10th CMA CGM vessel to feature Wärtsilä  systems.
