Ballast water treatment system company Coldharbour Marine has signed a contract with engineering solutions company Sembcorp Marine.
- Coldharbour’s GLD in-tank, in-voyage and inert-gas based BWTS will be provided as part of Sembcorp’s Marine Green Technology Retrofit (GTR) solutions for shipowners.
- Sembcorp’s GTR evaluates BWTS from specific manufactures to help shipowners and operates get the best suited system for their vessels.
- Coldharbour GLD is IMO type approved, has US Coast Guard Alternate Management Acceptance, and is undergoing USCG type approval. Treatment takes place in tank to eliminate the need for filtration.
