Corvus Energy’s Orca Energy Storage System has been selected for two new polar expedition cruise ships.
- Lithium-ion batteries to be used on cruise vessels purposely built for Arctic and Antarctic voyages.
- 6MWh Orca ESS will reduce fuel costs, emissions and lower noise by sailing on supplementary battery power says Corvus.
- Ships will be operated by a European operator.
