Corvus ESS to power PSV

Corvus Energy’s Orca energy storage system has been selected to power Farstad Shipping’s platform supply vessel.

PSV, Far Sun, will receive electrical power for propulsion from Corvus’ lithium-ion ESS.
Orca ESS will help Far Sun reduce its fuel consumption and emissions, particularly during dynamic positioning and harbour operations, according to Corvus.
Orca ESS will be integrated by Vard Electro to Far Sun in the second half of 2017.
