COSCO Shipping Lines and Marorka have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to drive efficiency in energy management and operational performance.
- Marorka will provide energy management solutions, including optimised trim, speed, machinery, and performance monitoring, to COSCO Shipping Lines’ fleet.
- Response time to technical and operational enquiries will also be improved through the development of Marorka and SMDERI’s Service and Training Centre in Shanghai.
- COSCO has stated that it selected Marorka to provide the solutions due to proven performance records and verified fuel savings on board the pilot project vessels.
