DuPont Clean Technologies has been chosen as the preferred supplier of exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS) for Navios ShipManagement’s vessels.
- Letter of intent was issued by Navios.
- Company also confirmed a joint feasibility study and techno-economic analysis of marine scrubbing units.
- Study will look at the viability of fitting DuPont marine scrubbers, or EGCS, to newbuild and retrofit ships to reduce sulphur oxides emissions.
